To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Cavas Blancher (1955-2015), the prestigious painter Francesc Guilera, will create an exclusive series of Geroboam and Magnum cava bottles.
The Argentine painter Juan Carlos Ferrigno, delivered on August 16, 2014 to the Carbó Family, a spectacular painting of one of the most emblematic vehicles of the company, the Citroën 2 CV.
The stained glass artist, Pere Canoves, author of more than 10 stained glass windows in the Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca, and some stained glass windows in Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona, friend and client of Cavas Blancher, made a dedication in the Book of Honor of the You dig.
Among the tops of the last edition of the Guia de Vins de Catalunya 2014, there are two of our products, the Blancher Reserva Nature cava with a score of 9.5 out of 10, and the Gran Reserva Nature 2008 cava with a score of 9 , 55 out of 10.

Cavas Blancher organized together with the Brotherhood of Cava Sant Sadurní on June 1, 2014, the start of the IX Country Cava rally of classic cars, in which a total of 40 cars participated, finishing their journey in the town of Vilanova i la Geltrú.
On June 3, 2014, the Els Blaus de Sarrià Excursionist Club organized the II Marxa als Monastirs between the Pedralbes neighborhood and Sant Cugat del Vallés, Cavas Blancher collaborated in the refreshment stations serving Vi Crianza Mercè 2006.
On May 23, 2014, the book “Llibre Obert al Vent” by the writer Antonia Torrelles Forcada, a member of the Carbó Family of Cavas Blancher, was presented in the Sant Sadurni d’Anoia library. Laia and Mercè Carbó recited poetry.
At the end of the event, attendees were able to toast with Blancher Reserva Nature 2010 cava.
On May 24, 2014, the 2014 edition of "Poetry and Cava" was held once. In this edition, the writers Laura Dalmau, Dionís Lluch and Mercè Solé recited poems, before the gaze of 150 people.
At the end of the event, attendees were offered a glass of our Blancher Reserva Especial cava.
The “Petit Committee” Exclusive Car Club, tasted an aperitif at Cavas Blancher on May 18, 2014, after taking a tour of different places of interest in our municipality. On 04/23/14 Caves Blancher, in collaboration with the Cava de Sant Sadurní d’Anoia Brotherhood, participated in the act “Per Sant Jordi, llibre, rosa i cava”, held at the Palau Robert in Barcelona. At this event, buyers of books or roses were given a glass of Blancher Reserva Nature cava.
On May 16, 2014, the Argentine painter Juan Carlos Ferrigno's "Art en Moviment" painting exhibition on Formula 1 and Resistance cars was inaugurated, in the presence of a large public and the mayor of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Mrs. Susana Merida.
On 02/26/2014, the Mariskeiros Group, taking advantage of its visit and traditional annual calçotada, delivered to the Carbó family of Cavas Blancher, a cake made with foundant and made by the confectioner Carolina Urdinenea, called “Bottle Blancher”.
On October 21, 2013, approximately 50 students ages 4 and 5 from the Col.legi del Carme of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia visited Blancher to learn how cava, the stellar product of our town, is made.
For 13 years, the school has chosen Cavas Blancher as the first cava winery its students visit.
On December 27, 2013 the artist-painter Francesc Guilera presented the Carbó de Cavas Blancher Family with a lithograph (Proof of Author) dedicated to Cavas Blancher.
The Carbó family recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first meeting of the Association of Cava Placa Collectors (cava bottle cap collectors). On October 5, 2013, the family held a breakfast for the attendees of the first meeting, which was held in October of 1994 at Caves Blancher. Among those present were five former presidents of the CPC: Leo Galmes, Ramon Castells, Marc Marti, Carles Cornella, and Ricard Marti.
During the event, Mr. Josep Carbó was presented with a commemorative placa, with a diameter greater than 50 cm, created by the artist Xavier Marti. The Carbó family presented each attendee with a lithograph signed by local artist, Frances Guilera.
The popular TV presenter Andreu Buenafuente shared a visit and barbecue with the Carbo family on December 23, 2013.
Cava Blancher has collaborated with Andreu Buenafuente's last 2 programs "Buenas noche Buenafuente" and "En el Aire" and also launched a Collector's Edition of cava plates by the popular presenter.
On June 30, 2013, Cava Country celebrated the 8th edition of the Cava Country Antique Car Rally, which began in Vilobí del Penedès and ended at Caves Blancher in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. 54 antique cars participated in the event.
Per tradition in the town of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia, on September 11th (the National Day of Catalunya), a horse-drawn carriage parade was held. Mr. Malet, who participated with three carriages dedicated to the world of wine, ended the parade at Caves Blancher by inviting his colleagues to a glass of cava.
In honor of Cava Week, the Carbó family held an exhibit of original comics dedicated to cava. Josep Carbó, comic collector, has compiled over 100 original comics dedicated to cava, including works by Francisco Ibáñez, Jordi Labanda, Josep M Blanco, Joaquim Muntañola, Roser Capdevila, Ramon Sabates, and others.
Last May, Sant Sadurní d’Anoia celebrated Poetry in the Caves, an annual event in which poets gather each Friday at a different cava winery to recite their poetry. On May 17th, the event was held at Caves Blancher, with 100 people in attendance. Participating were poets Eduard Sanajuja, Vicenç Llorca and Manuel Forcano.
On October 12, 2006, another edition of the Cava Rally of Classic Cars was celebrated in Sant Sadurni d’Anoia and throughout the region. One of the stops was at Cavas Blancher, at which each participant was given a box of two bottles of Cava Blancher’s Brut Nature Grand Reserve.
Caves Blancher was present at the 2013 Exhibition of Wines and Caves of Catalunya, held on the Passeig Lluis Companys in Barcelona from September 21st to the 24th. At the exhibition, Blancher presented its newest product, Guixeres Blanco 2012, as well as Gran Reserva 2008, Obrac 2008, Terasa Blancher 2007, and reservas Capdevila Pujol, Rosat Brut, and Reserva Nature.
Julio Salinas, former soccer player with F.C. Barcelona, visited the exhibit to try our new products and pick up the latest Blancher plaques (cava bottle caps).
Last February 5, 2013, the 4th Tir Lliure Gala was held, organized by the radio program Tir Lliure of Mataró Radio and the Association of Basketball, to award the best basketball players of the Maresme region. Cavas Blancher has been a sponsor of the event for the last three seasons.

For three years, the Carbó family of Cavas Blancher, and the Marti family of Marc Marti Publicity, have squared off in a basketball game played in the Municipal Pavilion of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia. At the moment, the Marti family has the upper hand, with two victories. More than 15 of the players on the teams bear Carbó or Marti as a last name. At the end of each game, the families celebrate with a cookout at Cavas Blancher.
On February 25, 2013, Blancher participated in Ticketday, held by Servisweb, headquartered in Fornells de la Selva. Once the conference concluded, all attendees had the opportunity to try Blancher’s Reserva Nature cava along with croquetas by Cuinats de l’Empordà.
Caves Blancher participated in the charity dinner organized by the Brotherhood of Cava of Sant Sadurní for Caritas, held on December 14, 2012, in the Oval Office of the Palau Nacional of Catalunya.
On Friday May 11th 2012, a poetry recital was held at Caves Blancher by poets Jordi Llavita, Panyella Vinyet and Sheer Salceda, an event organized by the City Council of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia as part of its "Cultural May."

The new Brut Rosat Reserva cava, produced with Trepat, Pinor Noir and Garnatcha varietals and aged 24 months has earned the bronze medal in the Giroví competition held last May 5, 2012.
The group of firefighters FEUERWEHR-Obertürkheim, of a small town near STUTTGART, took advantage of their stay in Catalonia to visit Cava Blancher, taste our wines and cavas, and sing a few songs typical of their region accompanied by a Pianola.

On March 19, 2011, author Luis Campo Vidal presented his book "Alexia and the Media Moguls,” in which Cava Capdevila Pujol was one of the protagonists. The event held at Cavas Blancher, was hosted by TV3 journalist Pau Huguet Maria and Commissioner of the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) Cristina Manresa was present.
The new cava BLANCHER NATURE RESERVE, prepared with varietals Xarel.lo, Macabeo and Parellada and aged for 24 -30 months, was awarded the gold medal in the 2011 Giroví contest last April.
In October 2004, a meal was held at Caves Blancher on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the CPC (Association of Cava Placa (cava bottlecap) Collectors). The event, held were the first exchange of cava placas was held in 1994, was attended by 125 people.

Part of the crew of the aircraft carrier named for the Prince of Asturias, took advantage of its stay in Barcelona on September 25, 1995, to visit Cavas Blancher. The procession was led by different commandors.
The November 25, 1997 visit to our facilities of the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Catalan Government, Francesc Xavier Marimon. Real Sociedad, the champions of the Copa del Rey (King’s Cup) 1987, celebrated the lauded title with their fans on the balcony of the Ayuntamiento (town hall) of Donosti, June 28, 1987, with Cava Blancher. The first exchange of cava placas (cava bottle caps) held by the Association of Cava Placa Collectors, was held in October 1994 at Cavas Blancher. Attended by 200 people, the event started a phenomenon that now has thousands of followers.

On December 16, 1988, the Jovenes Cofrades del Cava (the Young Confraternity of Cava), including brothers Ramon and Enric Carbó Planas, participated in the taping of the second episode of the game show “Si Lo Se No Vengo,” entitled “Doble o mitad”, dedicated to the world of cava. The program was hosted by Jordi Hurtado, and contestants included journalist Javier Basilion and television and radio personality Irma Soriano.
